SafeMoon, Safely To The Moon?

Could you find out what these three people have in common? Lil Yachty, a rapper, Jake Paul, a YouTuber and Dave Portnoy, a sports blogger. Except they are all men, see what they are endorsing on social media?

Yes, SafeMoon!

Then, the next question is, what is SafeMoon?

SafeMoon was released in March 2021. The slogan of SafeMoon, “Safely to the moon”, took inspiration from the popular phrase “To the moon”, meaning “to quickly rise in price”. The CEO of SafeMoon is John Karony, a former analyst for the United States Department of Defense. After its launch, SafeMoon quickly gained over one million holders of the cryptocurrency.

In addition to its high popularity, its price performance is also very impressive. The SafeMoon price spiked by as much as 46,533% from the launch to peak at $0.00001399 on 20 April. Even more incredible, the price of a SafeMoon token multiplied by 12x during a single week in April. The coin fell back sharply after this, however, and was trading roughly 90% below that high point for most of the year, according to Gate.io.

On the the 12th ofth of December,, CEO John Garony tweeted that V2 was live, adding there were some “new features in the wallet”. The SafeMoon price momentarily surged over 8% following the update to V2. Coincidentally, The price started to rise toward the end of August ahead of the planned launch of its software wallet along with Android and iOS apps. And the Android version of the SafeMoon Wallet launched on 13 September, supporting an uptick in the SafeMoon price to $0.000001853 by 15 September.

It is not difficult to find that the community and the market reacted directly to its development. So, what can we expect in 2022?

John Karony told Gate.io while applying to be listed on the exchange, SafeMoon’s roadmap includes building a macro Internet of Things infrastructure on a SafeMoon-created blockchain, which he says is currently in development along with a central exchange. Once SafeMoon’s blockchain is out, Karony says, the company will then expand into other industries. “We’re innovating in multiple spaces, with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology being essentially the proverbial train track, and then the different products we build upon it being the train carts,” he explains.

The company is about to open its 9,000-square-foot headquarters in Pleasant Grove on January 1st, 2022. This is just the beginning, Karony promises, the founders have a set of ideas that they plan to implement soon. Some of them that the community can definitely look up to include: creating a SafeMoon exchange, releasing a SafeMoon video game and integrating SafeMoon with African markets.

Can’t wait to buy SafeMoon now? Well, there are several ways to buy SafeMoon. However, the easiest way is through a trusted global exchange like Gate.io. Someone who has conducted extensive research and has a thorough understanding of cryptocurrencies can definitely try their hands at it.
