Coinigy, a cloud-based cryptocurrency trading platform, has announced the launch of Coinigy Mobile, a subscription-based mobile cryptocurrency trading application for iOS and Android, providing customers with a platform to place limit and stop orders throughout nearly 20 exchanges with data connectivity across more than 40 exchanges.

Unlike nearly all cryptocurrency trading platforms, the Coinigy Mobile trading app works on a subscription model where users are given access to the platform and its functionalities for US$21.95 per month. In addition to the trading platform, the price also includes access to special features such as Coinigy’s 24/7 exchange accounts and cryptocurrency wallets monitoring, portfolio aggregation, access to real-time cryptocurrency pricing via Coinigy’s proprietary Cryptofeed platform, which supports more than 2,500 markets, charting powered by TradingView, real-time streaming news and SMS price alerts.

Coinigy Mobile platformSpeaking to CoinJournal, William Kehl, founder and president of Coinigy, said that while many businesses have adopted the freemium model to gain as many users as possible and raise large amounts of venture capital investment, “Coinigy has instead focused on providing a stable, secure platform for a smaller group of retail and professional traders.”

“Always remember, if you’re not paying for the product, you are the product — and in cryptocurrency, that often means your data is being farmed and sold to ‘hidden’ third parties,” Kehl warned. “In addition, most ‘free’ platforms are just using a third-party data provider, whereas we are a data provider ourselves. This allows us to provide a much more robust and real-time feed than competing free apps.”

Kehl said the company aims to set higher standards in the cryptocurrency trading business by providing a superior service and trading experience centered on user privacy and security.

The Coinigy platform never physically holds users’ funds, for security purposes, and all user data is secured with strong encryption. Coinigy does not take any per-transaction fees.

Kehl continued:

“Coinigy will never share your data with any third party, nor will we use your data to hedge our own bets, as is done by operators of several other platforms. We believe that we provide an honest service and that users who take full advantage of the platform will get value.”

Based in the US, Coinigy has developed an all-in-one cryptocurrency trading platform, supporting some of the world’s largest exchanges including Binance, Bitfinex, Bithumb and Bitflyer. Coinigy Mobile supports trading of every currency pair, including USD, EUR and more. The platform is currently available in seven languages including Korean, French and Russian, and will soon be available in more than 20 languages.
