Not Just Drugs: Darknet Markets Carry a Variety of Goods for Your Bitcoin

Since the fall of the darknet markets Hansa and Alpha Bay, three markets have taken the reigns on the deep web. Now Dream, Point Marketplace, and the Wall Street Market are the top darknet markets, and since they took over, there’s a variety of different kind of vices other than drugs.

New Market Leaders Carry All Kinds of Goods and Services

Currently, the top three darknet marketplaces are doing well for themselves as they have replaced the fallen soldiers selling their wares on the deep web. Without adding vendor shops, there are roughly eight very large darknet marketplaces (DNM) on the web which include Dream, the Wall Street Market (WSM), the Majestic Garden, CGMC, Point Marketplace, Zion Market, Berlusconi Market, and the monero-only Libertas Market which is currently offline. Typically when people think of DNMs, the first thing that comes to mind is the buying and selling of illegal narcotics. However, the top three DNMs Dream, Point, and WSM cater to a lot of different goods unlike Alpha Bay and Hansa’s former halls of chemicals.

Streaming Movies and a Whole New Identity

In fact, for a little bitcoin, there’s a lot of other types of goods (most of which are still illegal) besides drugs that can be purchased on DNMs. For instance, on the WSM and other markets, users can buy a vast array of digital goods. This includes pirated software, video games, unreleased movies, books, and music. Stolen accounts to streaming video sites like Netflix, as well as Apple ID accounts for iTunes, and lifted Gmail accounts for Google Play. If these free accounts are not enough, DNM visitors can also purchase stolen gift cards, credit card credentials, passports, and social security numbers of the deceased.

From anywhere to $25-100, a student can get a term paper written for them. Or maybe a thrifty shopper wants to save a few bucks by purchasing some counterfeit coupons which are regularly for sale in both physical and digital form on many DNMs. Further, there are people traveling all around the world using lifted Uber and Lyft accounts as well. And instead of buying that college term paper why not skip the entire curriculum altogether and get a fake college degree? Anyone paying anywhere from $1,000-5,000 worth of BTC can obtain a counterfeit degree from Harvard, Yale, MIT, and many other well-known universities.

Sex and Hacks

People who are into fetishes and kinky sex goods and services will also enjoy the deep web market’s offerings. There are many personalized sexual items that can be purchased like a pair of underwear or a bra worn by a famous actress. And just like the psychedelics and cannabis vendors, there are also vendors peddling Viagra, and pharmaceutical lotions and oils for those private parts. There are also hard to get videos and photographs of celebrities doing sexual things on camera.

Marketplaces also carry great toys for hackers such as hacking software, stolen government intel, and loads of customer information tethered to corporate entities all over the world. DDoS guides and bots are for sale, as well as viruses and malware. For a large sum, you can even hire a hacker for more personalized deeds that you can’t commit on your own.

Get Your Shine On With Knock-Off Gear

Lastly, the mother of all types of fancy products that you can buy on the web is fake merchandise. For a fraction of the cost, you can buy a knock-off Louis Vuitton bag or a pair of faux-Ray Ban sunglasses for your next social gathering. The amount of fake luxury merchandise available is enough to make any shopper giddy as vendors are selling Rolexes, D&G jeans, Armani dresses and so much more.

It’s true a vast amount of these goods and services are considered immoral and illegal in most countries. However, some people believe ‘vices are not crimes‘ and think that many of the vendor products mentioned above are harmless and are not hurting anyone. Much of the darknet goods and services are in the gray area when it comes to the fine line between black and white markets. The fact is there are far more services and products on the deep web for sale besides drugs, as these markets have become virtual bazaars selling nearly everything.
